This book is an essential book for study on the subject of tazkiyah or spiritual and self reform. This course is focused on the goal of the believer – the single-minded desire to seek the good pleasure of Allah. The methods and instruments which must be used in attaining this ultimate goal will be discussed in detail. This course will be delivered by a trained and experienced teacher, Dr Riza Mohammed, editor of the text “In the Early Hours”. This is an important course on your journey towards the meeting with your Creator.

Dr Riza Mohammed
Dr Riza Mohammed is an Orthopaedic surgeon by profession. He has studied traditional Islamic Sciences under leading Islamic scholars in the Caribbean, South East Asia and the Middle East. His edited and complied works include Lots to Do: An activity book for Muslim Children (1988), Islamic Workers Training Manuals (Vols 1 and 2) (1989), Journey Through Islam (2000), In the Early Hours by Khurram Murad (2000), Islam: The Way of Revival (2004). He has lectured extensively on the subject spiritual and self-development over the past 3 decades. He currently resides in Manchester where he is involved with youth work and the teaching of Quranic Sciences. He is an Executive Committee member of the European Academy of Quranic Studies (EAQS).
